Sunday Mourning

Actually, not too much to mourn, or moan about, just assumed I would be mourning a crap England performance or an injury to Earnshaw whilst playing for Wales yesterday, but no, all seems well, touch wood. England's mediocre performance was of course not good, but the impact of their average skill and poverty of ideas was masked somewhat by the downright crap showings by Wales and Scotland, so all's well.

I note with interest that Berti Vogts has gone on to bigger and better things, since his ill-starred sojourn with Scotland:

Azerbaijan boss Berti Vogts was then dreaming of escaping from his first competitive game in charge with a rare point for Azerbaijan.

Amazingly, it's not raining here in flood & mud stricken South Wales. Hurrah!
