Describing a circular walk

Early Sunday's quiet, brown biblical floodwaters slowly subsiding, two crows on the road, and the trees poised on the edge of autumn, ready to Fall. September seems slow, and eases itself towards winter via an october branch or two, a crutch towards the cold months.

Excellent evocation of autumn, a time I've always dreaded till now. It smacked of the death of summer but now it feels more like the swell of fruit.
