2008 - A good year for sour grapes

So, now, after Australia's whinging, we have some more sour grapes from the French, about our success in the Olympics, with their sports minister, Bernard Laporte claiming that France wouldn't focus their resources on "four or five" sports in order to increase their medals haul, clearly alluding to Team GB's golds in cycling, sailing, rowing and swimming - and disregarding the fact that Britain won their 47 medals in 11 different sports. (France finished 10th in the Beijing table, with seven golds, four places behind Australia in fact).
